This is my first try in making fresh peach pie after ordering 1/2 bushel of peaches from a fruit truck that came through our area.

Ingredients

  • 7 Ripe Peaches, washed and peeled, sliced (1/8 – 1/4 in thick) into a bowl

  • 1/2 Cup of White Sugar

  • 3 TBLS Flour

  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tsp. Salt

  • 1/4 Lemon (squeeze juice into juice at the bottom of the bowl before mixing altogether)

  • Butter

Directions

  • I use a pie tin that is 8 inches across
  • Dot top of peaches with teaspoons of butter before adding the top crust
  • Bake uncovered for 50 minutes at 375 degrees. Cover loosely with foil and bake another 25 minutes
