Album Notes

The Lord, in His loving kindness began giving me songs of encouragement, wrapped with God’s Word, the Bible. My journey in song began with understanding the relationship God desires to have with me, who He wants to be and can be in my life.

I am grateful for my husband, Randall, who encouraged me to record these songs. When we minister Randall would introduce me and say, “There’s Life After 50; that’s when Barbara began writing songs.”

One of my friends, Erin Campbell, says, “Everyone has a story.” Every song written for this album is original and flows out of a story, mine or others’. The songs are dedicated to encourage us to walk out life in power, love, forgiveness, and joy. It is what God desires.

Jean Rodgers, another friend, continually says to me, “Sing your songs!” I am doing that with this album. My prayer is that the same Holy Spirit who inspired these worship and praise songs in me will encourage you.
