There is nothing like Pumpkin Bars or Pumpkin bread made with Fresh Roasted Pumpkin. Pumpkins are expensive before Halloween but I purchased one for just wpzoom-recipe-card/block-recipe-card.00. One pumpkin makes about 8 cups of roasted goodness.

Ingredients

  • Wash the outside of the pumpkin

  • Cut up in wedges

  • Using a knife cut away all the seeds and strings

  • Place all wedges onto a baking sheet lined with parchment

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees
  • Bake for 1 hour
  • When cooled, using a tablespoon, peel all the pumpkin off of the skin
