Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 Cups of Flour

  • 1 1/2 Cups of Sugar

  • 2 Sticks of softened butter

  • 2 Eggs

  • 2 tsp. Vanilla

  • 2 tsp. Cream of Tartar

  • 1 tsp. Soda

  • 1/2 tsp. Salt

  • Ingredients to roll cookie balls in:
    1/2 Cup Sugar and 2 TBLS Cinnamon

Directions

  • Cream together sugar and butter
  • Beat in eggs until fluffy, add vanilla and stir
  • Add 1 cup of flour, along with other dry ingredients and mix
  • Beat in the other 1 3/4 cups of flour
  • Cover bowl and refrigerate for 2 hours before making into balls
  • spray cookie sheet with olive oil
  • Using a small ice cream scoop make balls; roll in your palm and place in a bowl with lid of 1/2 Cup Sugar & 2 TBLS of Cinnamon. Place lid on bowl and shake around to coat all of the cookie balls
  • Place 12 ~ 1/2 inch apart on cookie sheet. I use a mug that has a design on the bottom to press each.
  • Bake for 9-11 minutes @ 400 degrees ( I have found that baking time differs depending on what bakeware you use)
