Change it up with Pear Crisp; a nice, delicate flavor

Ingredients

  • 6 Ripe Pears, sliced (you can substitute peaches with same recipe)

  • 1/2 Cup Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

  • (If the pears are juicy, like the red ones I recently use then add 1 TBLS. of flour to the above mixture)

  • 1 Cup of Quick Oats

  • 1/2 Cup of Flour

  • 1/4 Cup of White Sugar

  • 1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar

  • 1/4 tsp. Salt

  • 1/2 Stick of Melted Butter

Directions

  • Peel, core, and thinly slice pears in a bowl
  • Add 1/2 Cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp. salt and mix
  • Spray 8 X 8 baking dish with Olive Oil
  • Place sliced pears in dish to cover the bottom, evenly
  • Mix the remaining, dry ingredients listed, add melted butter and mix well
  • Spread evenly over the pears
  • Bake @ 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes
