minutesChange it up with Pear Crisp; a nice, delicate flavor
Ingredients
6 Ripe Pears, sliced (you can substitute peaches with same recipe)
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
(If the pears are juicy, like the red ones I recently use then add 1 TBLS. of flour to the above mixture)
1 Cup of Quick Oats
1/2 Cup of Flour
1/4 Cup of White Sugar
1/4 Cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/2 Stick of Melted Butter
Directions
- Peel, core, and thinly slice pears in a bowl
- Add 1/2 Cup sugar, 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, and 1/4 tsp. salt and mix
- Spray 8 X 8 baking dish with Olive Oil
- Place sliced pears in dish to cover the bottom, evenly
- Mix the remaining, dry ingredients listed, add melted butter and mix well
- Spread evenly over the pears
- Bake @ 350 degrees for 55-60 minutes
